Youngkin’s Sordid Past With Southern Poverty Law Center. What Will He Do As VA’s Next Governor?

When Governor Elect Youngkin entered the Virginia gubernatorial race in early 2021, it didn’t come without a great deal of criticism. Now, here we are in late December 2021 and we still have no idea what Youngkin is actually going to ban in his quest to “Ban CRT”. Will he disavow Southern Poverty Law Center and Learning for Justice and ban them from our kids education or will he and his spokesman plead the 5th?
This certainly was cause for a lot of concern. Perhaps Youngkin had lots of pressure from shareholders and the corporate world at-large. After all, The Carlyle Group was not the only organization to give money to these radical groups, in fact, it’s hard to think of many that didn’t. Since Youngkin never really provided much of a response, nor did his campaign, we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, for the moment.
Now, it’s December 2021, and Glenn Youngkin will be sworn in as the next Virginia Governor on 1/15/22. IF Youngkin simply caved to the pressures of the corporate world, he should have absolutely have no problem BANNING Virginia’s #1 provider of of Racial, Political, and Psychologically Damaging Educational Material by Southern Poverty Law Center’s very own company Learning for Justice. Right Governor Elect Youngkin?
For the past (8) days, ever since Youngkin announced his Social Justice Warrior pick for Secretary of Education, Aimee Guidera, we have been asking him or anyone from his administration to publicly state that they will also ban the tenets of CRT, but this has fallen on deaf ears. There are many reasons for this that we’ve stated before, however, for the purposes of this post we’re going to focus on the tenet “Social Emotional Learning”
Second Step SEL is a big provider of SEL material/lessons in Virginia and guess who their major partner is? Yup, Southern Poverty Law Center’s very own Learning for Justice. Oh, just a side note, Second Step SEL is also partners with Panorama, you know that student data mining and student assessment company owned by AG Garland’s son in law, the same AG Garland that called us parents “domestic terrorists”. Remember, our new Secretary of Education is a big fan of student data mining, just saying.
Don’t forget that on October 27th, 2021, Governor Elect Youngkin was asked point blank by Fox News what he thought about Second Step SEL requiring parents to sign an NDA to review their child’s classroom materials. He never answered the question (see the video below):
