Progressive Prosecutor To Stand In for Buta Biberaj In Fight For Schools Recall Case. This Wreaks of Corruption. Here’s Why.
On April 14, 2022 it was officially determined that Buta Biberaj would NOT be the Commonwealth Attorney involved in the Fight for Schools recall case against Atoosa Reaser. The “independent” Commonwealth Attorney that will stand in for Biberaj is Joseph Platania from the City of Charlottesville, VA (see official court document below).
It’s important for the people of Loudoun County, Fairfax County, and the people of the City of Charlottesville to understand the connection that Buta Biberaj (Loudoun), Joseph Platania (City of Charlottesville), Steve Descano (Fairfax), and James Hingeley (Albemarle County) share. They are all members of the Virginia Progressive Prosecutors for Justice. What is the Virginia Progressive Prosecutors for Justice? In short, they are 100% about Criminal Justice Reform (CJR) aka Restorative Justice (RJ). This means reforms advocated for by the group include expungement of criminal records, an end to mandatory minimum sentences, an end to cash bail, abolition of the death penalty, and an end to “three strikes” felony enhancement for larceny offenses. Look up “No Cash Bail” for NYC and LA to see how well that’s worked out for the citizens, it’s so bad that “No Cash Bail” should by itself be a criminal offense.
In August 2021, Fairfax Public School Board member Elaine Tholen was facing a recall herself. However, because Fairfax CA Steve Descano was already facing (2) separate recall efforts, he decided to recuse himself and brought in James Hingeley to stand in for him. Remember, James Hingeley is an active member of the Virginia Progressive Prosecutors for Justice. What happened to Elaine Tholen’s recall case? It was dismissed. Now, in Loudoun County, Buta Biberaj is being replaced by Joseph Platania, also an active member of Virginia Progressive Prosecutors for Justice.
Let us not forget that the NAACP forced their way into the Fight for Schools recall case and that the former president of the Loudoun NAACP, Phillip Thompson, is also the acting legal counsel for the NAACP in the Fight for Schools recall case. Furthermore, Buta Biberaj was the Loudoun NAACP’s legal redress prior to being elected as the Commonwealth Attorney for Loudoun County in 2019.
What does this all mean? Corruption from soup to nuts. Between the NAACP’s involvement, and the Virginia Progressive Prosecutors for Justice members involvement, the citizens, parents of Loudoun County, and Fight for Schools hardly has a fair chance of an unbiased trial. This is as much of a coincidence as (20) food supply and processing plants being destroyed across the US in the past (5) months.
