Hawk Newsome, BLM: “CRT is American History”
Meet Hawk Newsome, BLM NYC Chapter President and co-founder. For more than a year the progressives have been telling anyone that would listen that CRT is a false narrative created by Trump. It’s not real, it doesn’t exist they say. We know they are lying but I will say this, CRT is a framework (not an actual class or book) that tenets like SEL, STPP, No Bail Policies, and Restorative dangle from. However, Mr. Newsome has added a completely new twist to the meaning of CRT. He must have missed the first few memos because not only does he proudly display “Critical Race Theory” on his white hoodie but he claims that CRT “Is American History”. This is a new one and I say let Hawk run with it.
