LCPS Policy 8040 shouldn’t be a shock to anyone. I never understood and never will understand transgendered people. That’s between the two of them and God, and my perspective and opinions are irrelevant, and not a topic I really care to spend much time on. However, now that LCPS is jamming widespread acceptance of the entire transgendered world down our throats. Policy 8040 is forcing students, teachers, and parents to embrace this ultra minority and all of the ridiculous changes that come along with it. I’m sure there’s a tremendous amount of psychological trauma that goes along with confusion of ones gender identity, and I hope it works out but that’s between the two of them and their doctor not an entire school system. This is really stupid. There’s no reason to ask why LCPS is doing this, you know the answer already: diversity, inclusion, and equity (DIE).
However, there is one thing we do not know, how many transgendered teachers and students are there in LCPS? The state of Virginia claims that .38% of the states population are transgendered. If you use that as the base number for LCPS that means there are less than (350) teachers/students in LCPS that are transgendered out of 92,000+/- teachers/students.

Access to Activities.
|LCPS Policy 8350, Student Activities, states that interscholastic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities are part of the educational program and are subject to school supervision and regulation. All students are expected to display good sportsmanship in competitive activities, whether they are participants or spectators, and they shall conduct themselves in a manner demonstrating respect for persons and property. LCPS staff shall allow gender-expansive and transgender students to|
|participate in such activities in a manner consistent with the student’s gender identity.|

- 52 corresponds to their gender identity. While some transgender students will want that
